South Asia Future Forum (SAFF) organised a Tea & Talk session in Islamabad’s Serena Hotel on 20 September 2022 between the visiting team of the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) and the leading defence, diplomatic, media and civil society members from Pakistan.

​

The IISS delegation visited Pakistan after a gap of five years and the interaction between the visiting delegates and Pakistani subject specialist covered areas like Pakistan’s nuclear capability and its safety, Afghanistan under Taliban, regional ties with China, India, Iran and Afghanistan and the political uncertainty in Pakistan after the historic confidence vote defeat in the Parliament of former prime minister Imran Khan.
