Shahid Ahmed Khan
Shahid Ahmed Khan is a distinguished Pakistani-American. Originally from Lahore, Pakistan, Khan is now based in Boston, Massachusetts. An active Democrat, Khan has served as national finance co-chair on Senator John Kerry’s presidential campaign. He sits on the Board of Trustees of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign and was involved in Hillary Clinton’s election campaign. He also serves as Commissioner on the Governor of Massachusetts' Asian American Commission.
Living in the US since the 1990, Khan attended Western New England College, Springfield MA, for his MBA and has worked for global pharmaceutical brands like Sandoz, Glaxo Smith & Kline and Norvatis. He is also an Honorary Consul General for Pakistan in Boston.

Dr. Adeel Malik
Dr Adeel Malik is Globe Fellow in the Economies of Muslim Societies at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies and a University Research Lecturer in Development Economics at the University of Oxford. He is also a Research Fellow of St. Peter’s College, Oxford. Having completed his doctorate in economics from Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar in 2004, his previous research affiliations have included: the Department of Economics, Oxford University (2004-05); Merton College (2002-03 and 2005-06); and Center for International Development, Harvard University (2001).
His research articles have been published in Journal of Development Economics, Oxford Economic Papers, World Development, and Modern Asian Studies. Oxford University Press will be publishing his co-edited volume, Crony Capitalism in the Middle East, in 2019. Malik’s research on Middle Eastern political economy has featured in the CNN, Financial Times, the New York Times, Project Syndicate, and Foreign Affairs.

Tom Hussain
Tom Hussain is a veteran journalist and political analyst. Over the last 31 years, he has covered major events and issues in some 20 countries, from Libya to Iraq, and Iran to Bangladesh, winning two international awards.
Since 1987, he has worked for a plethora of world-renowned media organisations, including: United Press International, The Economist Intelligence Unit, IHS Fairplay, CNBC, The National, McClatchy DC, Al Jazeera and South China Morning Post. He has also performed editorial leadership roles in Pakistan, the Persian Gulf and the United Kingdom. Since 2008, he has focused on writing on Pakistan affairs and the geo-politics of South Asia.

Rashid Ahmed
Barrister Rashid Ahmed practices law in the United Kingdom, specialising in public and human rights with particular expertise in the fields of EU law, nationality, asylum, immigration, defamation, family and Sharia Law.
He was called to the Bar in 2003, heads a Chamber and is approved for direct public access. He is also registered with Sindh High Court in Pakistan as an advocate. Ahmed has represented leading Pakistani politicians in British courts, Indian, Pakistani, Afghan and African nationals in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals and the High Court. He advises foreign governments on legal matters and regularly speaks at British & international educational institutions on matters relating to law and its application.
